It was a early start for the day this morning as I had a plane to catch, for the trip back to Cairns.
I was flying back to Cairns with Barrier Air Services which I was excited about for a few reasons. The first being that we would be flying at an altitude of 9,000 feet and not at the dizzy heights of the jet planes. This meant I could look out the window and actually recognise places on the ground.
We basically followed the coastline all the way back to Cairns. It was great! I even got to check out potential camping spots on other islands. Seeing all this from the air bought all the memories rushing back into my head, and made me smile. I got an email from a friend, Stuart. This is what he wrote:
"Hi Anthony, You have done it again solo Cape York, well done, Not many people have done it twice solo, but 3 times its like your back yard now."
